He pitched for the Kinder Electric and Revival Tabernacle slow-pitch softball teams from 1975 through 1986. During that time, his teams won 83% of their games winning 1406 games and losing 288.

Revival Tabernacle won 11 Lexington Open Church league titles from 1975 through 1986 and Kinder Electric was the City Champion nine times. They also won 11 Lexington Open Church tournaments during that period. They were the ASA Kentucky Church State Champions in 1979, 1981, & 1983. They were the ASA National Regional Champions in 1979, 1981 & 1983 and finished as ASA National Runner-Up in 1984 and 1985.

He was named All-American or All-World at the Church Nationals five- times in 1980, 1982, 1983, 1984, and 1985. He was named his team’s Most Valuable Player 33 times.

His career pitching record was 1355-280 and he posted a .688 career batting average. He was considered by his manager and teammates as an invaluable key to his team’s success during his career.

This award bears witness that his name shall forever be in the Kentucky Softball Association Hall of Fame.
