FROM 1961-1982, THIS AWARD IS IN RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING ABILITY AS A SOFTBALL PLAYER/MANAGER AND TEAM MANAGER FOR 22 YEARS. AS A MANAGER, HIS TEAMS PLAYED OVER 2300 BALL GAMES, WINNING IN EXCESS OF 1600.

HIS MOSLEY BROTHERS/RED CARPET TEAM OF 1982 WON THE MAJOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. HIS MOSLEY BROTHERS' TEAMS PLAYED IN 12 STATE TOURNAMENTS WITH FINISHES OF 2ND IN 1977, 3RD IN 1978, AND 4TH IN 1976.

J.B. WAS ACKNOWLEDGED AS ONE OF THE PREMIER SOFTBALL MANAGERS IN KENTUCKY AS WELL AS BEING REGARDED AS ONE OF THE FINER GENTLEMEN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GAME OF SOFTBALL HE EARNED THE RESPECT OF EVERYONE.

J.B WAS THE FOUNDER OF THE BOWLING GREEN ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION. HE ORGANIZED THE MOSLEY BROTHERS' SOFTBALL TEAM IN 1961 AND MANAGED THE TEAM UNTIL HIS DEATH IN 1983.
