Philpot, Kentucky
All player abilities, manager wisdom, and sponsor support would be useless without the efforts of Debbie Zielinski in the Owensboro & Daviess County softball world. A third-generation softball player herself, her intent is to keep the family legacy alive through her grandchildren.
Through her tireless efforts in developing facilities, organizing and facilitating leagues and tournaments, Owensboro & Daviess County’s softball world has prospered.
Some of her accomplishments are:
-Daviess County Parks Director
-Developed two parks: Yellow Creek and Panther Creek
-Facilitator for Church, Co-ed, and Youth leagues
-Host and facilitator for ASA Qualifiers, State and National Tourneys
-Daviess County Softball League facilitator
-Girl Scout League Organizer
-Organizer & President of Owensboro Women’s Softball League
She is without question the “Softball Queen of Owensboro & Daviess County”.
We are proud and privileged to be able to induct Debbie Zielinski into the Kentucky Softball Hall of Fame.
