In recognition of outstanding ability as demonstrated in softball competition, sportsmanship, integrity, character, and contribution to the sport of softball this citation bears witness that his name shall forever be in the AMATEUR SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME.

Managed 21 years from 1972 to 1991. During this period, his teams won 1,060 games and lost 381 for a winning percentage of 73.6. His Starpath teams won 434 games and lost 141 for a winning percentage of 75.5. His 1987 Starpath team won the ASA Major title, and in 1988 won the ASA Super Division national title. In five Major Nationals, his teams finished first, second, fourth, fifth, and 13th, winning 26 games and losing eight. In four Super Nationals, his teams finished first, second, and third twice. He managed his West team to a gold medal in the U.S. Olympic Festival in Oklahoma City in 1889.
